The Arizona Chapter of NAIOP plays host to some of the finest networking events in Arizona!
Dear NAIOP-AZ Members:
It is with great pride and honor that I am serving this year as the 2010 NAIOP-AZ Chairman.
Both locally and nationally, our commercial real estate industry is experiencing difficulties not seen for approximately twenty years. Uncertainty in market values and employment face virtually our entire industry.
Accordingly, there has never been a better time for NAIOP membership and sponsorship. Our local Arizona Chapter continues to fight for commercial real estate owners on public policy issues such as lowering property taxes and creating jobs throughout Arizona. NAIOP nationally leads the charge in keeping capital gains low and maintaining the rights of real estate property owners.
Besides our public policy work, NAIOP Arizona is best known for networking. Our signature annual events, Best of NAIOP, Fight Night, Comedy Night and Golf Tournament, are the talk of our local industry. Throw in a few building mixers, some continuing education events and top it off with our new Casino Night event and you get a local chapter that brings our members together monthly for networking opportunities second to none in the Arizona business community. Lastly, NAIOP Arizona has added a few community service events during the year, which allow us to give back to this great metro Phoenix area.
For the under 35 aged professional, our fast growing Developing Leaders group has taken off in the past two years, and is providing our Chapter with a large and energetic group that will guarantee strength for NAIOP Arizona for many years to come. For young members, this group is a great way to get involved in NAIOP at the local level and meet lasting friends for the years to come.
In conclusion, regardless of the tough times found in the Arizona real estate market, NAIOP Arizona continues to be one of the strongest trade organizations in the state. Past years of great leadership have put our chapter in the great position of financial strength that we currently enjoy. So please help yourself and your business by being a member, promote your company and stay involved.
