Golf Tournament

Plans and coordinates the golf tournament that NAIOP
sponsors each year.

Night at the Fights (NAF)

Plans and promotes an evening of professionally
sanctioned boxing, networking and gourmet dinner.

Thursday Night Live

​Plans and promotes a hilarious evening of live stand-up
comedy and networking.

Advocacy committees

Government Affairs Advisory Committee

Serves as the primary advisory entity responsible for monitoring legislative and local policy proposals and providing recommendations on public policy issues. The committee receives updates on active legislation relevant to NAIOP and its members, and periodically engages with state and local elected officials. 


Public Policy Executive Committee

Comprised of highly experienced NAIOP members with a demonstrated commitment to the industry and public policy. The PPEC positions NAIOP as the leading voice for commercial real estate at the state legislature and with local governments by engaging with policymakers and developing public policy priorities for NAIOP.  Invitations to join the committee come from the PPEC chair(s) and senior NAIOP staff for those who have a proven record of participation in NAIOP and are passionate about public policy.

Special Topic Committees

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI)
Supports the chapter’s commitment to equality within
its programming and policies. Introduces high school and university students from underrepresented backgrounds to careers in CRE. Plans annual career fair.

Membership
Grows current membership, onboards new members and increases the level of member involvement.
Chair: Chris Burson, Flagstar Bank

Multifamily
Strives to positively influence state and local policy decisions, expedite processes for zoning and project approvals at the city level, create a more positive and informed public perception of housing density and the value of apartments in the housing stock, and provide information and education to NAIOP members on housing issues.

Retail
​Plans programs for members interested in retail
investment and leasing and collaborates with the Public Policy Committee on legislative and regulatory matters specific to retail real estate.
Chair: Laura Ortiz, Evergreen Devco
