Mission and Purpose
The Retail Committee focuses on fostering growth and development within Arizona's retail real estate industry. The committee is composed of NAIOP members who are actively involved in the development, investment, brokerage, and management of retail projects and properties in Arizona. The committee seeks to enhance the development of its members through regular meetings which address current trends and challenges in the retail market.
Activities
- Meet developers, investors, brokers and other CRE professionals with deep expertise in the greater Phoenix market. Through NAIOP, members can get up close and personal with the most exciting new projects in town.
- Attend and participate in conferences, workshops, and other events hosted by entities (nonprofits, academic, governmental, associations, etc.) focused on the retail industry in Arizona.
- Develop your retail prowess on a national scale through a wide variety of programs and events. NAIOP offers robust national resources through 53 chapters in North America.
- NAIOP Arizona advocates on behalf of the retail real estate sector, representing members' interests in legislative matters at city and state levels. NAIOP Arizona employs a full-time Director of Government Relations that lobbies for the industry and ensures members' voices will be heard.
- Learn about the future of retail spaces: mixed-use development. Take your retail expertise to the next level by learning from leaders of office, industrial, multifamily, and medical office development.
